The private sector is and has always been, a key driver in pushing forward sustainable development. Within this context, I was happy to meet with members of the Alexandria business Association as well as home-grown Egyptian companies championing the Green Transformation Initiative, to discuss the progress and steps taken in achieving the #green transition and reducing #carbon emissions by 2025, within the framework of the road to #COP27.

The Government of #Egypt constantly encourages public-private dialogue, creating more inclusive job opportunities and ensuring a sustainable and diversified economy across the country.
