Dr. Heba Shahein (PhD LSE) Executive Director of the Egyptian Regulatory for Reform and Business Activity in Egypt (ERRADA) participated in the workshop hosted yesterday by the National Management Institute (NMI), in the presence of the Institute’s Executive Director, Dr. Sherifa Sherif, PhD, and in cooperation and the presence of experts from the Sigma Program of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The workshop was attended by representatives of government entities concerned with investment and the business climate in Egypt.
The workshop also included the following:

• Present a summary of the procedures manuals GUIDE 1 and GUIDE 2 and explain their importance and purpose.
• The Industrial Development Authority and ERRADA presented the practical experience of measuring the legislative impact that was worked on by the Authority for the two years 2022-2024, in which ERRADA participated in cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. This is in preparation for the dissemination of the experience to other parties.
• At the end of the workshop, an open discussion was held and the attendees exchanged their different experiences regarding the procedures followed in some investment-related entities, and Sigma, ERRADA, and Industrial Development.
